Snehwan
The final installed capacity based on best inputs and requirements was that of a 10 kWp system. A total of 25 panels were installed in a span of 1 week. With the installation of the panels, Snehwan organisation will save Rs. 1,15,200 from their electricity bill annually. This also represents a reduction in carbon by 10.49 MTCO2e.
About the School
A young IT professional named Ashok Deshmane established Snehwan in 2015 in Pune. Snehwan provides education, living accommodation and job training for children of farmers who have died by suicide, labourers in the farm and economically underprivileged farmers. Snehwan started with 18 children but now has taken in 80 children.
