Salvation Army Women’s and Children’s Shelter

The final installed capacity based on best inputs and requirements was that of a 10 kWp system. A total of 25 panels were installed in a span of 1 week. With the installation of the panels, Salvation Army Women and Children’s shelter will save Rs 1,15,200 from their electricity bill annually. This also represents a reduction in carbon by 10.49 MTCO2e.

About the Institute

Salvation Army Orphanage accommodates a total of 52 rescued girls who have been victims of various types of abuse, making them a vulnerable part of the society. Presently the kids go to a nearby school, however there are tutors who provide vocational training such as sewing and computer efficiency at the orphanage.
