HOSPITALS ON SOLAR

Hospitals are one of the highest commercial electricity consumers due to their usage of high energy consuming medical equipment and air conditioning which results in high electricity bills. Due to their high energy demand from the electricity grid and frequent power outages, hospitals invest in expensive inverters and DG sets. These solutions are not only expensive but detrimental to the environment. The best way forward for a hospital to generate constant clean energy at low costs is to have a reliable, renewable, long term power generating unit which is installed and operated within the hospital premises such as a rooftop solar power plant. Since hospitals usually have large roof space available, a rooftop solar plant is ideal, providing long term generation resulting in huge financial and carbon savings.
