The final installed capacity  was a 15.17 kWp system. A total of 41 panels were installed. With the installation of the panels, the hospital generate 21,238 units of clean energy which will help save Rs 1,58,860 from their electricity bill in the first year. The clean energy generation would also account to a reduction in carbon by 16.99 MTCO2e.

About the Hospital

The S.G. Patel Ayurveda Hospital and Maternity Home is a part of Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM), a charitable trust established in 1945 with the intent to bring about social upliftment through rural development.

The Hospital supports nearly 75,000 beneficiaries annually. It was established in 2005 and provides both in-patient and out-patient treatment. The facility includes special therapeutic units for Yoga, Panchkarma and so on. The hospital regularly hosts free medical camps in nearby villages, including distributing free medicine and runs satellite OPDs to cater to those unable to reach the hospital facility.
