PVG's Vidya Bhawan School Complex

A system of 30 kWp solar PV system is installed on the rooftop of PVG’s Vidya Bhavan School in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. In all, 51 solar panels are installed which will help in the generation of 47,783 units of electricity in the first year. The institute is estimated to save Rs. 5.12 lakhs in the first year and offset 41.87 metric tons carbon dioxide equivalent emissions.

About the School

Established in 1909, Pune Vidyarthi Griha (PVG) is a renowned educational trust dedicated to empowering underprivileged, orphaned, and meritorious students through education, care, and social support. Founded in 2001, Vidya Bhawan School Complex at Nerul, Navi Mumbai, is one of PVG’s prominent schools. It includes Pre-Primary to Junior College sections, offering education in Marathi and English mediums and is affiliated with the Maharashtra State board.
