A total of 4.9 kWp solar PV system is installed on the metal rooftop of Ramrajya Madhyamik Vidyalaya. In all, 9 panels are installed, which will help in the generation of 6,867 units of electricity in the first year. The school is estimated to save Rs. 58,026 in the first year, which will offset 6.17 metric tons of CO2 equivalent emissions.
Ramrajya Madhyamik Vidyalaya is a Marathi-medium school in Bibwewadi, Pune, established by the Ramrajya Shikshan Sanstha Trust. It is a Marathi medium school, affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board, with more than 1000 students studying in grades 1 to 10. Around 50% of the students come from underprivileged backgrounds.
