A. D. Patel Institute of Technology
A total of 55.13 kW solar PV system was designed and installed after studying available roof space available and energy requirements. A total of 149 panels were installed which are expected to generate 77,000 units of electricity in the first year. The hospital is estimated to save Rs 5,77,000 in the year from their electricity bill. Additionally the system will lead to a reduction in carbon emissions of 1,400 MTCO2e in its lifespan.
About the Institution
The A.D Patel Institute of Technology (ADIT) is an engineering and technology institute established in 2000 by Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM), to impart quality STEM education.
The institute offers 10 under-graduate programs for engineering, 6 post-graduate programs, and also supports PhD students. The institute currently supports a total of 1,770 students and receives around 500 new enrollments every year.
