Vivekanand English High School
The final installed capacity based on best inputs and requirements was that of a 25kWp system. A total of 63 panels were installed in a span of 1 week. With the installation of the panels, Vivekanand English High School will save Rs. 2,88,000 from their electricity bill annually. This also represents a reduction in carbon by 26.24 MTCO2e.
About the School
Vivekanand Vidyalaya and Kanishtha Mahavidyalaya and English High Schools are managed by Vivekananda Education Society, Mumbai. It has a strength of more than 5500 students studying in Hindi and semi-English medium and English medium from 1st to 10th and Junior college. These students come from lower socio-economic strata and almost 90% are first generation learners.
