Society Undertaking poor people's onus for Rehabilitation (SUPPORT)
A 5kWp solar system was installed for SUPPORT’s drug rehabilitation centre, Saphale. A total of 17 panels were installed in a span of 1 week. With the installation of the panels, SUPPORT Centre will save Rs 55,986 from their electricity bill annually. This also represents a reduction in carbon emission by 5.1 MTCO2e.
About the School
SUPPORT is a charitable Trust with over two decades of uncompromising dedication to rehabilitation and mainstreaming of substance-abusing street children and homeless youth in Mumbai. It is one of the very few organizations in India offering residential rehabilitation program for drug using street children / youth.
