Aryan High School
A total system of 15.12 kWp solar PV system is installed on the terrace of the Aryan Education Society High School. In all, 36 panels are installed, which will help in the generation of 20,110 units of electricity in the first year. As a result, the school is estimated to save Rs. 2.2 lakh in the first year and offset 18.06 metric tons of CO2 equivalent emissions.
About the School
Aryan Education Society High School is a Marathi medium school located in Girgaon, Mumbai, with a mission to provide academic excellence and high quality education facilities to students. The Society aims to educate students who will give utmost importance to nationalism, respect and love for physical labour as well as moral values, right from childhood. The school is government-aided and is affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board. The school educates more than 400 students and also runs a D.Ed College in the same building. Aryan Education Society doesn’t charge any fees for its school’s students but raises funds to support its students who are from underprivileged backgrounds.
