Anjuman I Islam's Kurla Boys and Girls High Schools, Kurla
A system of 21.44 kWp solar PV system is installed on the school’s metal rooftop. In all, 64 panels are installed, which will help in the generation of 30,016 units of electricity in the first year. The school is estimated to save Rs. 3,25,674 in the first year and offset 24.37 metric tons of CO2 equivalent emissions.
About the School
Anjuman-I-Islam’s Kurla Group of Schools was established in 2003. The Kurla group encompasses four schools within the same building. It offers primary and secondary education to over 1,900 students in both English and Urdu. The schools are affiliated with the SSC board and emphasise the policy of inheriting traditions, stepping up reforms, and looking ahead at the future. They strive to integrate modern civilisation with traditional culture.
