The project is being executed in 3 phases over 3 financial years (FY 2023-2026).
Phase 1: A total capacity of 326 kWp was installed at ACTREC on the rooftop of the Khanolkar Shodhika (Cancer Research Institute- CRI) and Paymaster Shodhika (Clinical Research Centre- CRC) buildings.
Phase 2: In FY 2024-25, a total capacity of 365 kWp was installed at Radiology Raja S Rao Shodhika (RRS) and Jussawala Shodhika (JS Ward) buildings.
Phase 3: The remaining system is proposed to be installed at various buildings at ACTREC.
The institute is expected to save more than INR 1.5 crore annually while reducing the carbon emission by 1,345 MTCO2e in the first year.
