Shri Annasaheb Sahasrabuddhe Adivasi Ashramshala
The final installed capacity based on best inputs and requirements was that of a 20 kWp system. A total of 56 panels were installed in a span of 1 week. With the installation of the panels, Shri Annasaheb Sahasrabuddhe Adivasi Ashramshala will save Rs 2,30,400 from their electricity bill annually. This also represents a reduction in carbon by 20.99 MTCO2e.
About the School
Shri Annasaheb Sahasrabuddhe Adivasi Ashramshala was established in 1994 to serve the needs of the Adivasi community which traditionally is not attracted to education and cannot incur expenditure on growing children. Approximately 500 students from class 1 to 10 stay on campus. The Adivasi children belong to the poorest strata of society, with the unique distinction of being the first generation to attend formal school.
