Kamala Nimbkar Balbhavan
The final installed capacity was that of a 3.8 kWp system. A total of 10 panels were installed. With the installation of the panels, Kamala Nimbkar Balbhavan will generate 5,320 kWh of electricity every year and will save Rs 53,200 rupees yearly on their electricity bills. This also represents a reduction in carbon by 4.4 MTCO2e.
About the School
Kamala Nimbkar Balbhavan (KNB) is a full time Marathi medium school, in the under-privileged locality of Phaltan, with classes from pre-primary to SSC.
It is part of the Pragat Shikshan Sanstha (PSS), which is an ongoing intellectual endeavor, attempting to implement the best in educational thought and practice and to carry on a dialogue with researchers, government officials and general public.
